2 days ago I got this from help desk:

  • Clean reinstall Synapse 3 and make sure to use latest installer from the webpage

  • Make sure keyboard is detected in Synapse 3 - update and restart where necessary

  • “Exit all apps” from system tray

  • Stop “Razer Synapse Service” from Task Manager

  • Install the patches below in order

  • Restart “Razer Synapse Service” from Task Manager

  • Start Synapse 3 and log in to their account

  • Test the keyboard again.

  • If the issue persists, kindly compare the frequency of failure before and after installing the patch

I started to test it today on various games. Now I have 6 hours of gaming without the sticky key issue and synapse is running.
If you do not trust the links (which are official Razer short links) try to ask them for "PID0266MW_v0.1.4.092113.exe" patch.
1st link is EXE, 2nd and 3rd are registry keys to enable key logging... Dunno if they are needed. After more hours of test I'll revert the registry changes back to original.

Let us know if these patches helped
I'm surprised but... it works for me. I tested it on RDR2, MHW, OW, Hitman 2 and Hades. No issues. My total playing time is more than 19 hours in last 2 days.

Wow, you said you have a Huntsman V2 Analog, right ?

Yes I have this model.
Insane, I am interested to buy one too, but I was too scared to do it. But if this is so, I may very well order one. Thanks alot for the really good news !
The question is whether there are also such patches for the keypad

I hope this solve the sticky keys finally and came soon in a new synapse update. I am also collaborating with support to resolve this issue, sending logs and testing patches... but this last one was not shared with me.

Since this is the Tartarus thread, I assume you don't have a Huntsman V2, right ?

The thread was started for tartarus but several keyboards have the issue including the huntsman V2. My huntsman now does this all the time after several patch attempts. :(
I will keep watching here but until something promising shows I will just turn synapse off.

Are you talking about the new Huntsman V2 with Red or Purple optical switches, or the V2 Analog ?

I have the V2 analog
Hi,

I've just noticed that the last synapse update mentioned a bugfix for tartarus pro mercury white (the model i own). and I don't get any sticky key problem since that update. don't know whether it's just a coincidence or an actual fix. can anybody with tartarus pro confirm whether they still experience the problem? Thank you
I am looking into buying the Tartarus V2 and was wondering if this issue has been sorted out? I know a workaround is uninstalling Synaps but then I loose all the settings I use extensively on my naga mouse
I will test last synapse update today. (tartarus pro black)

I dont have a tartarus but I have a huntsman v2 analog that had the same problem and I dont wanna jinx it but since the latest patch I have not had the issue.
I have only about 2 hours of play test time but it used to occur 3-6 times an hour.
Fingers crossed it sticks.

Great news please keep us updated, also is the analog switches really as mushy as they say, some compare it to pressing air, no resistance at all? I might be interested in the Tatarus Pro, but the fact that the keys "feel like pressing air" is a bit of a let down
Userlevel 2
Feels like pressing air? I obviously missed finger day in the gym and I find them pretty much perfect in the feedback sense.

LOL I have no idea thats why I am asking, some people on youtube says they have very little feedback, are the keys clicky or not?
Userlevel 2
no they are not clicky, but they have a constant resistance. Clicky keys have absolutely no resistance, then bump, then nothing again. The analog keys feel like they are sprung (which i guess they are).
Clicky would not work for analog keys since you can change the actuation point.

Thanks a mil for all the info, what I actually meant with clicky was are the keys super silent or do they actually give a nice sound while typing?
After 5h of game, works fine, i will test more.
Yes finally! It works now 👍
