Razer Tartarus V2 controller D-pad sticking / glitch

Userlevel 1
so while using the Tartarus V2, the d pad sticks and you keep moving in one direction till u press the same direction again. I know a lot of people have this problem while looking through the forums and the one solution is to delete razer synaps. but unfortunately I use a lot of razer products and that's the best way to match and customize RGB. so its either I deal with that annoying glitch and have cool colors and effects. or i delete synaps and don't deal with that glitch but now half my RGB features are useless. I was hoping to bring this back to the attention of the developers to see if u can make a small patch for synaps so the people who use the Tartarus can enjoy there gaming and RGB lights at the same time. Please and thank you.

I'm noticing the issue seems to happen with the Tartarus v2 and not too much with the Tartarus pro. Maybe they fixed the issue for their Tartarus pro because thats the latest version and completely abandoned about the Tartarus v2.

Let me know if your having the sticking issues for the Tartarus pro or the v2.
I have not experienced this issue on my Tartarus pro in a while now, something must have been fixed because it used to happen all the time.

I am feeling awful for the people that still have this issue. you would think that the same fix for Tartarus pro would work on the older versions. (I hope I am not speaking too soon about my Tpro working. )

Do you have the white or black?
Just curious
Hi guys, I started using my Tartarus v2 again recently and have some luck with getting the D-pad to not stick in a whole 2h gaming session on Diablo Immortal. Not sure if this is just a fluke but the following were the changes I made before the session that had no D-pad sticking:

1) Connect the Tartarus V2 directly to the PC USB port on the aft of my computer
2) In Synapse, Lighting panel, turned the brightness to zero, effects to static and colour to Green (something I read in one of the threads but never tried before)
3) In Synapse, set the thumbstick to 4 way and set all 4 bindings back to default (up, down, left and right), then map the keybindings in game.
4) Removed my USB bluetooth adapter from my computer (something random I was testing out)
5) Changed my Wifi from 5GHz to 2.4GHz (due to random lag spikes I was getting with 5GHz when my door was closed)

All 5 things are quite easy to do, so I hope people facing the sticky D-pad problem can try these out to see if it helps them. I will continue to report whether I face the sticky D-pad problem.

[Update] The sticky D-pad problem is still there, it came back quite consistently after that 2h gaming session. I tried the clean install guide and that didnt help as well.

Diablo Immortal is not the only game where I faced the sticky D-pad problem, I also faced the problem in ESO and spoke to customer support about it a couple of years back but they could not help me. I also narrowed the problem down to something triggered by software as the Tartarus V2 was working fine without Synapse and keymapping achieved with Auto Hotkey. The main key I had to remap was 1 -> Esc, because you typically cannot remap the Esc key in game. The only problem I had with this solution was that I could not control the RGB on the Tartarus V2

I really like the design of the Tartarus V2 and its a unique product on the market, there is nothing that has the same feature set: ortholinear keys, ergonomic wrist rest, thumbstick, that circular button next to the d-pad.
Had 2 Razer Orbweaver and 1 Razer Nostromo and they all have a problem with the analog stick sticking.

I use the stick to control the camera in League of Legends, it goes off on its own constantly and i seriously am starting to hate Razer with a passion for letting me spend all this money and being so fucking lazy that they won't fix it.
Seeing as this is a fairly established issue could you please let your tech support know about it. 3 emails in and i found this myself, asked them to read it, speak to some one and get back to me.
I will NEVER buy another Razer product until this is fixed. I've had the problem on multiple keypads and Razer let me think it was a hardware propblem.

Fix your software you absolute lazy, ignorant bunch of lay-abouts.

You KNOW about the the software problem, DO SOMETHING.

I understand you are disappointed/annoyed with what is happening with the gaming keypad. However, that is not what I want to convey. Please be aware that Razer (Devs, Support Team) and our users are working hand in hand to resolve this behavior. Also, this is what our forums/community purpose, to talk about what's going on with our products and services so we can improve them. I'll send your post as feedback to the team. I appreciate it.

Are you still working hard with this? it's getting boring asking your support to have a look at this post

They said similar things YEARS ago.

They are simply lying. No one is looking at it. I wish we could make a bigger deal out of it so that they would feel the pressure.
Another week of no action or attempts to fix the issue.

Hopefully we can get some action on this soon. I'm sick of this issue, it affects me daily across multiple devices. It is not a hardware problem.
I also have a similar issue, when exiting synpase the problem go away.
Seems like Razer support lied and they just wanted to keep me quiet. We need to put pressure on Razer. Please tweet about the issue that has affected us for 10 years and make sure you tag them in and #razer.
@Razer.Speedcr0ss Can you comment on why, as a member of staff, you still have this unresolved issue after years? How long have you been passing this thread by? How many years?
