Razer Turret mouse/keyboard unable to change lighting

I am unable to change the color or lighting effect on the turret mouse or keyboard. I have uninstalled and re-installed synapse (several times), updated the firmware for the dongle, the keyboard, and the mouse. Made sure synapse was up to date, ran a system file checker via command terminal (because why not?). Tried wireless mode, and wired mode, NOTHING works. Sometimes the mouse and keyboard cycle through their default rainbow setting, sometimes they’re a solid color, sometimes they wont turn on at all. All keys seem to be working on both, heck I can even adjust the brightness on the LEDs, just can’t adjust them in any other way. Synapse does detect both the mouse and keyboard and allows me to change key bindings and everything else, just no lights. Very annoying when I actually want/need a backlight keyboard in a dark room. Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I am at wits end with this.

This happened to me too. I suspect a driver update, or a new version of Synapse may have broken this on the PC. I currently have v3.8.930.92719 installed on my PC. I’m also running Windows 11 version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.2428). I shut my machine off for the first time in a few months, and when I started it up, the Turret lighting has been broken ever since.

For fun, I connected my Turret to an Xbox Series X, and ran the Razer Turret app there. It had no problem communicating with the Turret and was able to set up default lighting that works, as long as Synapse isn’t running on the PC.

So interestingly enough, as of today razer synapse only kind of recognizes my keyboard. It shows up on the home screen next to the mouse, but is stuck in a perpetual state of loading or something. There is a little green circle that never goes away, it’s showing up, just grayed out and can’t select it. My synapse version is v3.8.930.92719 as well.  Windows 11 version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.2428). I don’t have an Xbox to test this theory, I purchased the turret specifically so that I could use my pc from my couch, I know I’m weird for this but it’s worked great up to this point. Just super bizarre. Hopefully Razer releases an update that fixes this soon…..

Is the issue resolved yet? Im also unable to connect my keyboard and mouse wirelessly. However my computer do detect the dongle but not my keyboard and mouse. Im using wired mode only right now. Tried it with different pc.  It remain the same.

https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13693 try this. It fix my lighting effect.

I also noticed that a new version of the Razer turret firmware came out (Firmware v1.13.00_r1) which installing along with the latest version of Synapse addresses all of the lighting problems I had. These problems seemed to have been caused by Microsoft’s own Dynamic Lighting feature, and new firmware and app versions provide the right support on the latest Windows 11 (Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.2506) is what I’m running).

It seems this issue has been resolved. I followed the link to turn off windows dynamic lighting feature, then did a clean uninstall of synapse. After that, all seems to work now. Yay! Thanks for your help everyone.
