Razer Ultimate Newbie Question

Hello, I purchased a razer ultimate for my son...he has a Mac...I saw that the customization of the mouse via Synapse 3.0 can only be done in Windows. I installed it on a Windows 7 and my son is customizing the mouse now. My question is, will the setting/profiles he creates "stick" when he uses the mouse on his Mac? Please advise.

    Which mouse are you referring to? Keybinds will stick if he switches to mac if the mouse has onboard memory, but macros and lighting effects will not.

    He has a Basilisk Ultimate. I am not sure that mouse has on board memory or not. Doe it? As far as the lighting effects, is there is there a way to replace the default lighting pattern with a rainbow pattern? so it keeps that rainbow pattern all the time regardless of the computer it is connected to?

    The Basilisk Ultimate has onboard memory. However, the default lighting effect is not something that can be changed.
