I just purchased a Razer USB 4 docking station, and it mostly works great. The only exception is the monitor support. For clarity, I have a MacBook M5pro, and a 1440p monitor and a 1080p monitor. When I plug both monitors in via the HDMI and DP ports, only the 1080p monitor shows up in MacOS (No matter if I use DP or HDMI), and the display is duplicated to both monitors, and I cannot find a way to extend it, as MacOS only sees one monitor.
When I unplug the 1080p monitor, the 1440p monitor is correctly identified and display scaled, and if I plug the 1080p monitor into the HDMI port on the MacBook itself, both displays are correctly identified and I can rearrange them. Having dual monitor support is why I bought this docking station though, so it’s not very useful if I have to plug the second monitor in via HDMI anyways.
Are there any troubleshooting steps that I’ve missed or should take, or any way to know if the docking station is working properly?
