Razer V2 Hyperspeed isnt turning on!

I have recently started having issues with my Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed. It won’t turn on when I hold the power button. When it’s on the charger there is a solid red light on but I can only hear audio if I hold the EQ button down. When I plug in the dongle, there is a faint white light on the dongle, then it turns off. I updated the firmware, charged it on another system, tried other power sources. The headset was randomly turning off the day before it stopped turning on, otherwise I’ve had no issues. Any advice would be wonderful, thank you!

Dear Razer Support,

I am requesting a review of my Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed headset (Serial Number: NH2337D31503390).

Unfortunately, my headset has developed a serious hardware issue. It only works when connected via USB and will not power on wirelessly. The charging LED remains solid red, and as soon as I disconnect the USB cable, the headset immediately powers off.

To troubleshoot the issue, I have already:

  • Updated the firmware successfully (both the headset and the USB dongle were detected and updated).
  • Tested multiple USB cables, charging sources, and USB ports.
  • Confirmed that Windows detects the headset correctly via USB.
  • Reinstalled the firmware, but the issue persists.

Based on these tests, the problem appears to be a hardware failure related to the battery or power management.

Although your website indicates that my product is out of warranty, I believe it may still be eligible for warranty coverage. I am currently trying to locate my proof of purchase and would appreciate it if you could review my case.
