Razer Viper 8K issues

I have a razer viper 8k, and it was working fine until today, where the right mouse button just suddenly stopped working. All the other buttons work fine. Any idea how to fix? I've tried plugging it back in, restarting my computer but somehow the right mouse button is still broken. Sometimes it seems to "come back" where the right mouse button starts clicking again but it quickly breaks again. No idea why that happens. Any fixes i should try? I think I've had it for quite a while now though..

Hi anistonpe55,

I understand you’re having issue with your Razer Viper 8KHz's right button not responding. One probable cause for this to happen is hardware-related issues such as debris buildup, dirty sensors, or faulty switches. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Connect your wired mouse directly to a PC USB port instead of a USB hub. This ensures a stable connection.
2. Use compressed air to gently remove any dirt or debris from under the affected buttons. This can often resolve issues caused by buildup.
3. Update your Razer Viper 8KHz firmware to the latest version available. This ensures you have all the latest fixes and improvements.

4. Test the mouse on a different system without Razer Synapse to determine if the issue is software-related.
5. Check if a software is causing the issue by closing all Razer apps and software. Go to the system tray, right-click the Razer icon, and select “Exit All Apps.”
6. If closing Razer Synapse fixed the issue, reinstall your mouse drivers, and perform a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse.

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, do not hesitate to PM me with your device’s serial number, proof of purchase, and a short video showing the issue so I can check for replacement options. You can upload files to Google Drive and set the privacy to "Public" or “Anyone with the link” so we can view it. All the best!
