Razer Viper 8k scroll wheel issue

Same here, couple of months using with same symptoms. Had Microsoft mouse 15 years before and wheel was fine whole time. Wheel on M$ uses optical sensor while Razer uses mechanical contacts. Maybe the redesign using an optical sensor would help.
I’ve seen a YT video of cleaning wheel sensor on Deathadder & Viper, where they use a small mechanical sensor with contacts. I’m able to fix it, but it’s going on claim. It should last a lot more than a couple of months.

I've owned the Razer Viper 8k for 2 months. Recently I have a problem with my mouse wheel, when I scroll down it sometimes scrolls up a random few ticks and vice versa too. I also reinstalled Razer synapse and did the firmware.

1. Use a can of compressed air to gently blow away dirt under the affected buttons.
2. Test the mouse with a different system without Synapse.

3. Perform a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse if the issue persists.

4. Uninstall the mouse driver. After the uninstallation process, your Razer mouse driver will automatically reinstall.
