Hi,
I'm on a Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080, NVMe storage, X570 motherboard and I have this annoying issue where Apex Legends starts stuttering after about 2 hours or playing. I've checked my temperatures and neither my CPU, nor my GPU is overheating but I've narrowed the issue down to the mouse polling rate. I've attached a step by step video showcasing my problem, see the end of this post. Please watch the video before possibly dismissing this issue.
First, I start Apex with the mouse set to only a 1000Hz because Apex doesn't support high polling rate. After about 2 hours of playing on 1000Hz, the system begins the stutter and the only way to fix this is to set the polling rate to 500Hz (not really why I bought a gaming mouse). An alternative fix is to restart Apex which is obviously not possible during a match.
Can you please look into this? I didn't buy a gaming mouse to have it set to 500Hz. I can understand if the Apex engine doesn't support 8000Hz but even 1000Hz seems an issue.
