I just got this mouse, and I tried playing CS:GO with it, and when the polling rate is set at 8000, the game engine seems unable to support such a high polling rate, resulting in FPS drops. I fixed the problem by setting the polling rate at 4000, but I’d want to get the maximum performance out of this mouse, because that’s what I paid for.

Not all game engines are supporting 8kHz, so it’s not a mouse problem itself, but the game.
I know that, but I tried the mouse on Valorant and Fortnite, and they both behave the same way, 8kHz just results in massive FPS drops, like 20-30fps.
My specs are:
Ryzen 5 5600
GTX 1080TI
32GB 3600MHz CL16
Seasonic Focus GX 750W
Samsung 980 and 970 Evo Plus (both 500GB)
Gigabyte x570s Gaming X motherboard
lo mismo que pena, que un adquiera un equipo por promesas y actualmente no funcione, es como comprar unas llantas preciosas para un carro que aun no existe, que fraude.
