Basically the title. Every single time I reboot/restart/power up my PC my Viper 8Khz resets its polling rate to 1khz, even though it’s set to 8Khz in Synapse; the only way for me to fix it is to unplug and replug it in to my pc. If I switch between polling rates before unplugging and replugging it in 125 is 125hz, 250 is 250hz, 500 is 500hz, 1000 is 1000hz, 2000 is 500hz (for some reason), 4000 is 500hz as well, and 8000 is 1000hz. As soon as I un- and replug it in this fixes itself.
Specs: 7800x3d, 6000mhz CL30 DDR5, RTX 4080, Gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax ice, win11 pro
I’ve tried: uninstalling/reinstalling synapse, razer DriverCleaner, USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, disabling Legacy USB support in BIOS, new (v1.03.01_r1) firmwares, old (v1.02.00_r1) firmwares, I’m just at a loss.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

I have the same mouse and issue but not everytime and it started recently. Unplugging and plugging fixes the problem temporarily. Mouse itself is great in terms of accuracy and tracking, but in terms of software bugs and mouse wheel jumping, it’s really bad. I can’t use mouse wheel because it scroll-jumps and i have to blow hot air into it to make it work for 1-2 hours. Razer > cheap quality, expensive product because it’s Razer.
i’m having the same issue with my new dongle on deathadder v3 pro any solutions please?
Same issue Razer Viper 8Khz resetting to 1Khz after every reboot/restart
