Razer Viper Ultimate issues

Was playing vic3 for a few hours and only using my trackpad ( I have an m1 mac pro ) and when I switched to another game I noticed that my mouse, although still on judging by the lights and completely charged because it had been connected to my computer by cable, stopped working. I've only had it for less than a month so this is concerning. I've tried changing to wireless mode, changing sensitivity, etc but the mouse won't move the cursor on any surface, and none of the buttons will send a signal.
