Hi. I bought Razer Viper Ultimate in early September of 2022, so it’s been around 9 months. I was satisfied with it but its scroll wheel started skipping after around 3 months of use. I didn’t mind it that much but recently it got much worse and I decided to contact support. I entered my serial code but Razer says it’s expired despite stating mouse warranty is 2 years. Worst part about this is that they only have contacts for US & CA customers. I tried contacting support and the agent rejected me. I have never seen a customer support outright reject a customer. I wanted to write here as a last resort. Hope someone can help me.

 

I’m from Turkey and I was apparently trying to contact US support because there isn’t a Turkish page. I guess I’ll try to contact the company on the warranty card I received with the product but I would have preferred to at least not being rejected by customer support!


LOL same honestly. I got a razer viper ultimate back in february 2022 and had connection issues. It says on the website two years, and hasn’t been two years. It says my warranty has expired but that’s not what the warranty on razer says.

All Razer mices have 2 years limited warranty. Maybe mouse was not bought from official reseller, so the best way is to RMA the mouse at the shop, where you bought it.

That’s what I’ve done but the customer support should at least be able to say that instead of denying my request, even if they’re in a different region. Am I wrong for expecting support from the maker of the product?

 

I’ve had different mice and keyboard from other companies and they always stand by their product no matter if you bought it directly from them or through a retailer. I expected better from Razer.

 

Imagine if I hadn’t figured out to take it to the shop I bought it from, I’d be waiting for almost a week with no responses on the forum as well.
