Razer Viper V2 Pro dock not working

Mouse works when connected via wire, or when the dongle is directly connected to the pc, but the dock’s not working.

I understand that you’re having an issue with the Razer Viper V2 Pro dock, where the mouse functions correctly via direct connection or dongle, but the dock itself is not working. Allow me to ask a few questions to so we can isolate the issue.

  • Is the dock receiving power? Are there any lights or indicators on the dock?
  • Have you tried connecting the dock to different USB ports on your PC? Are these ports functioning properly with other devices?
  •  Is the Razer Synapse software recognizing the dock when it is connected?
  • Have you recently updated the firmware for your mouse or dock through the Razer Synapse software?
  • Have you checked if the connection pins or ports on the dock are clean and free of debris?

Please try the steps below to fix the issue:

  1. Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.
  2. Unplug and then reconnect the dock to your PC, ensuring a secure connection.
  3. If possible, try using a different USB cable to connect the dock.
  4. Make sure that both your operating system and Razer Synapse software are up to date.
  5. Connect the dock to another computer to determine if the issue is with the dock or the original system.
