Hello everyone, I would like to share my issue and hopefully get some support from you guys. In the last months I havent used my computer as often as usual and now I noticed that the mouse is not charging at all, it works only if its plugged. Firmware updated for dongle and mouse. It pairs because right now im using it plugged to an external power supply which is not the computer cable and is paired and working perfectly. On razer Synapse battery doenst go past 0 Percent. When I unplug it and try to turn it on it doesnt do anything, does anyone know a fix for this issue?

Thank you very much

Hello DistanceSmoker,

I'm sorry to hear that your Razer Viper V2 Pro won't charge. Allow me to ask a few questions so I can properly diagnose the cause of the issue:

  • Was it working fine before?
  • When did the issue start occurring?
  • Were there any incidents that happened to your mouse prior to the issue?
  • Is there any noticeable physical damage to the mouse?
  • Does your mouse still turn on?
  • If you attempt to charge your mouse, does it show that it’s charging, or is the percentage stuck?
  • Can you see an LED indication on the device while charging it?

The following are possible causes for why the mouse is not charging or turning on:

  • Damaged charging port
  • Faulty charging cable
  • Faulty battery

Follow the troubleshooting tips below to resolve a Razer wireless mouse that is not charging:

  1. Make sure the mouse is connected directly to the computer and not to a USB hub.
  2. Ensure the charging cable is working and plugged in properly.
  3. Use a spare charging cable.
  4. Ensure the charging port is not loose or damaged.
  5. Try testing the mouse on a different port on your PC.

If the problem persists, please send me a PM with your mouse's serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation. Thanks!
