I’ve looked through similar issues already discussed but the only other person I saw with the exact same issue didn’t find a resolution.

The mouse functioned perfectly till today. However, today when I plugged in the dongle into the computer, the mouse didn’t connect. I figured it was out of battery so I plugged the mouse into my computer to see if it would show up in synapse and charge. It did not. It showed no signs of charging and was not usable, not connecting to my computer through the dongle, or working through the wire. I tried a method found by someone else to plug the mouse into a non-computer usb port. By doing this, the mouse turned on and said it was charging (in synapse), as it was now connected to my computer through the dongle despite being charged by a non-pc usb port. I assumed the problem was fixed and left it for an hour. I came back, unplugged my mouse and within a second it lose power and connection to my pc. I plugged it back in and realised it was stuck charging at 0%.

I reset the computer, reset synapse, unplugged and plugged the dongle in multiple times, updated the firmware for the dongle and mouse, replugged my mouse directly back into the pc and nothing has fixed it. It is currently sitting charging from a non-usb port, just to try it again.

Any fix would be great as I bought this mouse to play wireless and it’s kind of redundant if I can’t do that.

Thanks in advance.

Hello there, @sashimichef!

Thanks for alerting us about this and we’re leaning toward a dongle defect right here. If possible, try it on a different computer just to check if the same issue persists. If it does, shoot me a PM along with your mouse’s serial number so I can check for options.
