My father bought the Viper V3 Pro in July 2024 from Amazon and has not really used it. Yesterday, I tried to use it since my old mouse shape has become too small for me, and I wanted to try something new. However, the mouse is not charging (it’s stuck at 0%), and the dongle is not connecting to the mouse (probably because the mouse is at 0%). Additionally, I noticed a huge cursor lag both on the desktop and in games—the cursor constantly lags behind when I move it in a straight line. Moreover, the mouse wheel seems to have a scrolling problem. When I try to scroll a webpage, it scrolls erratically.
I am using an original cable and dongle that came in the box (the mouse is pretty much in brand-new condition, lol)
I tried:
- Razer Pairing tool to pair the dongle (the mouse and dongle both get detected by the software)
- Updated the firmware to the latest version
- Tried different settings in the synapse(polling rate, DPI)
