razer viper v3 pro not tracking on mousepad

I’ve had my razer viper v3 pro for 10 months now. Everything was perfect and it was working just fine. I purchased a new XL steel series mouse pad and it won’t track on the new mouse pad or my old mouse pad now. It will track if I place the mouse on my wood table. Any fixes other than change the mouse pad?

Hi pulseCelestialBlue513,

I understand you’re experiencing a tracking issues with your Razer Viper V3 Pro. Here are a few tips that might help resolve the problem:

  1. Make sure the sensor on the bottom of your mouse and the surface of the mouse pad are free from dust and debris.

  2. Make sure to update your mouse firmware by following the instructions in this link.

  3. Try recalibrating your mouse to the mouse pad using the Razer Synapse software. Follow the steps here.

  4. Ensure that the sensitivity settings in your mouse software are configured correctly for the surfaces you're using.

  5. Test the mouse on a different surface. Make sure to avoid surfaces that are rough, shiny or glossy such as glass or similar materials.

If none of these solutions work, send me a PM with your mouse’s serial number so I can provide other troubleshooting to fix it. All the best!
