Razer Viper V3 Pro Slow Charging

I’ve had the viper v3 pro for only a few months and has been working fine since today, the charging is now slow (only 30% over 2 hours) and nothing to try and solve the issue works. I asked ChatGPT what to do it said try software and hardware resetting I did the software one and it changed nothing and when I try the hardware way to reset it doesn’t work or do anything. I tried another cable and it didn’t resolve the issue as well as the back and top ports of my pc. Any solutions or info is greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating for only having the mouse for a couple of months now.

The firmware is also updated on both Synapse and the mouse, Any other solutions I could be missing or could try? Is this a known issue?

I understand that you’re experiencing slow charging with your Viper V3 Pro and has tried various troubleshooting without success. Allow me to ask a few questions to isolate the problem.

  • Did you perform a complete discharge and full recharge cycle to recalibrate the battery?
  • Is there any visible damage or debris in the charging port of the mouse?
  • Were there any incidents that happened to your mouse prior to the issue?
  • Does your mouse still turn on?
  • If you attempt to charge your mouse, does it show that it’s charging or is the % stuck?

Please try to examine the charging port on the mouse for any visible damage or debris that could affect charging. Also, allow the mouse to fully discharge and then perform a full charge cycle to recalibrate the battery indicator. If the issue persists, PM me with your device’s serial number and proof of purchase so I can check for replacement option. All the best!
