I am having an issue with my Razer Viper V3 Pro -  after owning it for approximately 2 weeks, the mouse has suddenly decided that it no longer wants to wake up after sleeping. It requires pressing the button on the bottom to wake up, what is happening here?

Hello BubbleGumheadsecret143,

I understand that the Razer Viper V3 Pro no longer wakes up from sleep with normal movement or clicks and only comes back when you press the button on the bottom. Let’s make sure your mouse firmware is up to date. If possible, test the mouse on another computer. if the same behavior occurs, please send me a PM with your device serial number and kindly answer a few questions to rule out the issue:

  • Was the mouse working normally before, and if so, for how long?
  • When did you first notice this behavior starting?
  • ere there any changes made to your system (updates, new software, USB devices, etc.) before the issue began?
  • Does the same issue happen on both wired and wireless?
  • When the mouse goes to sleep, is it completely unresponsive to any left/right click or scroll wheel press, and only wakes when you press the bottom button?
