The mouse works perfectly, but the dongle does not. Sometime I walk away from pc for a few minutes (around 10 minutes), and then  when I come back, the dongle LEDs are turned off, I tried to move mouse to activate the dongle but it clearly doesn’t work, but somehow when I click the mouse buttons, the LED that indicates “connection quality” blinks, the other two LEDs still don’t work. So every time  this happens, I need to unplug and re-plug the dongle to make it work, which is annoy since this is a $160 mouse. Is this dongle defect?

I tried some other methods in other threads, like connecting the dongle to motherboard directly, it doesn’t work.

I am having the same issue. I’ve tried:

  • Pressing every button on the mouse (LMB, RMB, scrolling up/down, clicking scroll wheel, side buttons, power/dpi on the bottom)
  • Wiggling the mouse
  • Using the PC without the mouse (alt+tabbing into a browser, windows key, playing a youtube video)

Opening Synapse Web when this happens says the mouse is sleeping. Bumping for visibility

I encountered the same problem twice. I long pressed the bottom power button to turn off the mouse, and then long pressed it again to turn it back on, which worked normally

Hello guys, HeartGoldpulsebyte957venturePeruIVORY153bestVenetianRedvoice793,

Thanks for bringing this up. To help narrow things down, please start by updating your Razer Viper V4 Pro to the latest firmware. Once that’s done, run the pairing utility to re-pair the mouse and dongle. Afterward, keep an eye on it and see if the issue still happens. If you can, try the mouse and dongle on another computer as well and check if you get the same behavior there.

Feel free to send me a PM with the device’s serial number so I can look into a few more options for you. All the best!
