Hello Popflash07,

Good question! Based on Razer’s Warranty Policy - Exclusions and Limitations, the limited warranty does not cover claims arising from any unacceptable use or care of the Product, including (without limitation) misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized modification or repair, unauthorized commercial use or any operation of the Product outside Razer's recommended parameters.

This means that any issue Razer believes was caused by third‑party skates or by the process of changing them can be excluded from warranty coverage. For example, if the mouse is damaged while removing the stock skates or installing dot skates (such as baseplate damage, sensor issues, or a cracked shell), Razer may treat that as damage caused by non‑Razer accessories/unauthorized modification and deny warranty for that damage.

If you want to avoid any potential risk to your warranty. you can keep the mouse completely stock so there’s no question about coverage, or return it within the store’s return window if dot skates are a must‑have and you don’t want to take any chances. Have a great day!
