Razer Wireless Control Pod

Can I use it as a standalone accessory just to increase or decrease the volume of windows while using another brand's headphones or computer speakers without needing to install the Razer Sysnaptec app? Or does this device only increase or decrease the computer's volume when connected to Razer's speakers?

 I mistakenly scratched out the PIN numbers on the card. Please help @razersupport @razeragent

I am very much interested in the Razer Wireless Control Pod (I haven’t bought one yet, cause I need to understand its capabilities to work with wireless speakers. Here’s what I would like to know:

 

  • Can the Razer Wireless Control Pod be used with wireless speakers of different brands?
  • If so, can it be used only with Bluetooth speakers, or could it be used with wireless speakers that have Bluetooth, but stream via WiFi?
