Hi RobbFocus,

I would love to check on this for you. Can you PM me the serial number and your region so I can validate its model and check our spare parts list? Thanks!

Where do I find Razer wolverine chroma replacement thumb stick caps?

Mate,

I had the same question yesterday and after much wasted time, I was informed that Razer does not sell replacement thumbstick caps and doesn’t have any idea if it ever will. As Razer controller users, we’re pretty much left only with using worn down sticks, doing a full RMA on the controller, or messing around with other replacement sticks (possibly voiding any warranty we might have).

When I called and messaged Razer “Support” yesterday, nobody in their “support” team had any product knowledge about the controller and said we could try aftermarket replacements, but they had no idea which ones (if any) would work. They mentioned that only their “Internal Team” has product knowledge and of course, nobody in their “Internal Team” was available for comment.

It’s this specific consumable non-stock/abysmal support issue that has me never wanting to purchase Razer products again. Not trying to flame this thread, just hopefully be helpful to OP in getting the right information as provided by Razer, albeit as useless & unhelpful as the info may be.

Good luck and if you find any caps that work, please let me know and I’ll do the same for you.

Cheers.

JM

My thumbstick cab from Wolverine v2 also broke after less than a year of use. Where can I get a replacement?
I don’t want to buy a whole new high-end controller because it breaks after less than a year.

Look mate, let’s just rip the band-aid off: there’s no hope of getting any assistance/replacement parts from Razer for their controllers, period. When you talk to their support, you can hear their keystrokes as they search up which pre-written script they should use for your call. They do not have any product knowledge, nor do they stand behind what they bring to market. Their Trustpilot reviews are dead-on so you’ll see that this isn’t a fluke; this is commonplace “business as usual” for Razer now. My advice?

*The warranty from Razer doesn’t mean much anyways based on the number of Trustpilot reviews claiming that their products were never marked received by Razer and/or they never received the RMA back after repair/replacement and nobody at Razer really cares to address this issue.

My take? I would never recommend buying a Razer product to anyone as long as I live unless they apologize to all the customers they’ve screwed over, fix the outstanding issues, and drastically improve their customer service. But, because the problem seems so prevalent and widespread, this solution would likely be too expensive for Razer to ever perform. As such, they will almost certainly never get another dollar from me...nor anyone with an ear to listen to my warnings. I hope that this helps with your decision. Good luck!

I fully agree with Jestermess. You will get absolutely zero support from Razer., Once your thumbsticks wear down you might as well toss the controller as you will not get a replacement anywhere. I have tried. I just want to replace the magnetic thumbsticks and it should be so easy to buy new once but Razer will not make them available and support has no clue how to get you replacements. I would be happy to buy some buy they just don’t make them available. Maybe it is a supply chain issue maybe it is not but they won’t tell you either way. My next controller will be an Xbox Elite because at least I can get replacement parts for it.

Same issue.

Response I got is they don’t have any… seems very strange they cannot stock 100 thumbstick caps and sell them at £5 a pop or a set at £20.
