Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition Suddenly Not Working

Hi everyone im been Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition for 2 years now,  i use it for my Windows 10 PC for Need for Speed game and Overcooked. But afterward im not playing few months now suddenly not working and there is no more RGB ring light. I have checked the USB cable are working fine. What should I do?

I have the “Razer wolverine tournament edition” Model Number “RZ06-0199” that was having the same issues. 

 

The controller would disconnect and not reconnect without unplugging the controller from the system.  Then it would disconnect again.  Happens on both XBX and XBS and PC. 

 

Solutions tried. 

  • Connect to different devices = No Go
  • Updated XBOX Razer app = No Go
  • Turned off Rumble feature in XBX Razer App = No Go
  • Tried a new USB cable = GO!!! So far. 

Controller has not disconnected yet. Hopeful. Willing to blame the usb cable that came with the unit. Although cable feels quality.  May not be if a new cable fixes issue of constant disconnecting. 

For a new cable to fit. I had to use a sharp knife and remove the plastic walls on the inside of the controller connector. Must be there for their properiety cable. 

 

Steps involved.

  1. Remove plastic walls (female end) on inside of controller port if your (male end) of the usb cable does not fit.
  2. Push in firmly.
  3. Game on.

Worked for me.  Your mileage may vary.
