Razer Wolverine Ultimate Do I need a new controller or wire?

Hello, I was just wondering I used this controller for approximately a month and then when I started to plug in then one of the following would happen...
1) I plug in the controller then the lights that change turn on but not the white light so I can't use the controller.
2) all lights turn on but I still can't use it.
3) All lights are on and I can use it but then it just randomly disconnects.

So basically I was wondering do I need to just get a new wire or do I need to get a new controller? If you guys needed me to upload videos of this happening or anything of the sort just let me know when you respond. Regardless a simple "yes you need a wire" or "yes you need a new controller" would do fine.
