Razer Wolverine Ultimate Left Thumbstick/Trigger | Razer Insider

I purchased the Razer Wolverine Ultimate controller in 2019. I was interested in this specific controller because it stated you could assign the buttons. I needed the two extra buttons, but after getting it home it did not do what I thought it was meant to do so put the controller in its box, and it sat there for a rainy day. I could have simply returned it but during the pandemic I did not want to be hassled with having to go to USPS or UPS (I did not have a printer to print the postage).

Just three months ago I went back to playing a game I use to play-- so decided to use the controller. The controller was working fine for a week. Later I noticed the left trigger plastic cover was feeling different than the right side. Later while playing the left trigger plastic cover just FELL OFF while in the middle of gaming. I turned on the lights, and found that I could just slide it back on, and went back to playing my game. This has happened a few times over the past few weeks. Very expensive for only 3 months of use and it is already falling apart!

Just recently I found an issue with the controller. While playing a game-- when I pressed down on the "Left Thumbstick" the "Left Trigger" would activate its assigned action. This would happen randomly.

Example, I would press down on the left thumbstick to "RUN/SPRINT", and it would run, but at times it would also do the assigned left trigger settings which is -- "BLOCK". So when I go to run/sprint it would block! This is horrible when you're mounted and go to sprint, but it tosses you off the mount to block? What a mess!

The assigned actions on these buttons are correct within the game. Nothing has changed and there is no "settings" reason for this.

The last time the left plastic trigger cover came off I investigated it more. Just with a little movement I found a small piece of black plastic (round with a hollow center) that fell out. I can also see a spot where it seems like a tiny screw from the inside was missing. However I am not hearing anything rattle and due to my careful handling and cleanliness of my desk-- I've never found a tiny screw anywhere.

I wanted to be sure it wasn't the plastic trigger cover causing the problem. I keep the left trigger cover OFF and pressed down on the left thumbstick and the problem still happened. It is an internal issue with the controller!

I think something was wrong with this controller from the day I purchased it.

I wanted to write this to see if others have had the same problem or at least something similar? Is there anything I can do to fix this because the controller was almost $300.00 and it basically cost me $100.00 a month to use it. Very sad indeed.
