Razer Wolverine V3 Pro no longer detected via USB-C

This problem occurred within the last 3 days, as I had been using the USB connected mode on this past Sunday.

here’s a couple things just to get an idea with what I’m dealing with.

  1. Controller’s LED Razer name thing cycles through its colors
  2. Controller vibrates when first powered on or following me trying to reset it
  3. Multiple Console restarts and shutdowns, both with the controller plugged in and not plugged in.
  4. Multiple Controller restarts
  5. Not detected by my Mac as a device
  6. Not detected by the “Razor Controller Setup for Xbox” app

I have not attempted Bluetooth connection yet as I’m away from home but will try it tomorrow afternoon, as well as hooking it up to my PC to see if I can update firmware or something like that. I am so confused and honestly angry that it suddenly stopped working and since I bought it December of 2025, my 1-year warranty is no longer valid. I could really use some help here.

Hi smartGoldenBrownguide312

If your controller vibrates on power-on, no detection on Mac/Xbox, and failure to be recognized by the Razer setup app, then your Razer Wolverine V3 Pro is likely experiencing a critical firmware crash, a severely depleted battery preventing proper booting, or a faulty USB-C port/cable connection. Try the following:

  1. Unplug the USB-C cable from the controller, turn it over, and plug it back in. This often resolves connector alignment issues on this specific model.
  2. Use another known-working, high-quality USB-C to USB-A data cable directly into the console or PC (avoid USB hubs).
  3. If the battery is completely dead, it might vibrate but not turn on. Let it charge via a wall adapter for at least 1-2 hours, then try to connect it to the console.
