I updated my controller with the new firmware and my deadzone issue is still not fixed. I need to set my deadzones to 5% (on xbox app) is this normal? Is there a manual calibration setting?

Hi techboardCeil439,

Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention. I understand your concern about the drift you're experiencing, even with the deadzone set to 0%. This is expected behavior due to the high sensitivity of joystick components, which are designed for precise control. When the deadzone is at 0, even the smallest movements can be registered, leading to drift. To reduce the drift, we recommend adjusting the deadzone setting to a slightly higher value, such as 5%. This adjustment can help smooth out minor movements while still maintaining responsive control. To better assist you with your concerns, please PM with the following information below:

1. The serial number of the controller.
2.  Test the controller using the appropriate tester and provide a video demonstrating the problem. For Consoles and PC - You may use this Web-based gamepad tester: https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad
3. Does the same issue persist regardless it is connected to a PC or the Xbox?
4. Does the same issue persist regardless it is connected via the dongle or in a wired connection?
