razer wolverine v3 pro wont connect to xbox or pc

I’m experiencing major connection issues with the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro. Here is everything I’ve tested:

- The controller powers on when connected via USB-C, and also turns on wirelessly due to its internal battery.
- The Razer logo lights up and cycles through  colors, but the controller doesn’t connect or respond.
- Pressing the Xbox button does nothing — it doesn’t light up or activate the controller.
- It connects to my Xbox Series X via USB-but not via the included 2.4GHz wireless dongle.
- On PC, the dongle is detected, but the controller doesn’t pair.
- I tried using the Razer Controller Setup app for Xbox/PC, but the controller is not recognized at all.
- I’ve changed USB ports (front and back).
- The controller receives power but sends no input and is not detected by any system.
- It now turns on by itself without being plugged in, but still doesn’t connect or work in any way.

I’ve followed all recommended troubleshooting steps and nothing has resolved the issue.

Please advise on how to proceed.

I've been running into the same issue as you on my xbox series x lately as well. The only thing that fixed it was unplugging the xbox power cable, plugging it back in, then using the Razer control to turn it back on (connected via dongle. Prior to unplugging the xbox, the controller couldn't turn it on or connect at all).

    Check for firmware updates. Did you switch to PC mode? function menu a for pc, x for xbox.

    I have had the same experience with was originally posted above. I have tried everything I have found as possible fixes and nothing works. Of course this happened after the return period from an authorized dealer expired. I have not been able to get it to connect to the Razer Controller app. The app is not reading the controller at all and I have tried different computers, different USB slots and cables. I have also tried to get it to register both on PC and Xbox and nothing is working. The controller does light up the razer logo but that is about it. I need to know what the next steps are for this controller.
