I wanted to share some feedback regarding the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition controller.
I received this controller as a gift a while back. Initially, because the games I was playing at the time did not require a controller, I did not use it heavily. However, when I did use it early on, I noticed an intermittent disconnection issue where the controller would stop responding and required me to unplug and reconnect the USB cable to get it working again.
At first, I suspected the bundled Razer USB cable might be at fault. When I swapped it for an alternative cable, I did not immediately experience the issue, but again, my usage at the time was limited.
Recently, I have been playing Call of Duty, and the disconnects are now happening frequently during gameplay. To troubleshoot, I have followed all the recommended advice and troubleshooting steps available across this forum, but none of it has resolved the problem.
To isolate the issue further, I switched back to my older Xbox controller, plugged it into the exact same USB cable and port, and experienced zero disconnections whatsoever.
Based on my direct troubleshooting and the numerous similar comments I am seeing across this community forum, it is difficult not to conclude that there is an underlying design or hardware fault with this model. For a premium product from a brand like Razer, this level of reliability issue is very disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken on board so that the engineering team can address whatever is causing these recurring connection drops.
