Hello again!

So, this is the second one, exact same error. I have had this happen yet again identically since a month after I got it as replacement for my first one but haven't had the energy to reach out for help again.

It's so weird, I can play for 4 hours, thrn it suddenly starts disconnecting and becoming extremely sensitive to the dlightest movement.

I have never in my life taken this much care in cable management and have eliminated any and all "tugs/yanks"  on the cable. It's so obviously a product flaw as I haven't heard anyone NOT getting this. Latest example: "literally 5 minutes ago my friend sent a party invite, from that moment and until I had joined the party the controller disconnected _6_ TIMES. That's in a  <30 seconds time lapse.

Twice I had to unplug/replug the cable or it would not Power On at all (power surge? poor shielding in the contact area?).

It has literally ruined Coop Sessions, Boss fights, PvP Duels and my desire to ever use a controller again or a console has almost entirely vanished.

I would like to do the same RMA as previously EXCEPT upgrade to the V3 Pro (the wireless one) and hopefully solve the issue.

I just want expensive things to work. Doesn't have to outshine everything else or do XYZ better.

Please help.

Tired, depressed and almost apathetic at this point.

I have the same issue. It has got so bad now I can't even play anything without it disconnecting multiple times.

I agree with you that it's a design flaw. The cable should have more support to prevent this happening. I have tried everything to keep the cable in place but it still disconnects. I have even tried surrounding the cable at the usb c with blu tac to hold it in place to the controller. Worked for a little bit but it still disconnects and is more time consuming to reinsert the cable so I gave up with that idea.

Razer this is poor from you. You clearly designed this controller to fail so people would buy the wireless version.

Hey, I improved on the design and managed to make it more steady at least. I switched the USB cable with a soft one  and a less clunky contact. It was the USB cable from an Asus Chakram, I haven’t been dying at crucial gaming moments at least (touch, knock, caress all the wood!). Hm, that sounded better in Swedish I think ;).

But nonetheless, a complete ignore from Razer is a huge let down and a dealbreaker for me. This was the last Razer product I will ever buy. And I have been a customer since their first semi successful product; The Razer Boomslang.

:(

Hope you get yours working!

It’s not just the wired version with repeated disconnect issues, so please don’t double dip and try and fix it that way!
