I’ve searched all over and seen similar issues but not exact and no resolution. Hoping someone else seen this or knows fix. Any Thoughts?
Problem: When I do a forced windows shutdown (shutdown.exe /s /f /t 0) with Synapse App Engine running, the keyboard does not initialize during POST or when Windows starts. I have to unplug the usb and back in to get it to activate.
However If I exit the Razer Synapse app then do forced shutdown, the keyboard initializes fine during POST and Windows load.
Few work arounds I found:
1) Leaving synapse running but using another brand keyboard attached doesn’t have this behavior (did this just as test)
2) Shutdown /s /t 0 (not forced) has no issue with Synapse.
3) Also doing shutdown using Start > Shutdown has no issues with Synapse running. and KB works find in POST/WIN
4) Yes I can stop doing the forced shutdown but I have it as part of script to execute when certain triggers occurs. For now I’ve created script to kill all RazerAppEngine processes before issuing the forced shutdown.
