RazerBlade 16 2025 doesn't sleep

Along with the buggy mousepad, when I press sleep laptop just takes me to lock screen, when I close the lid the laptop stays on, it was like this out of the box as well I have been defaulting to just shutting it down but as we know that’s not good for system health

Hey there, ​@Fylker 

I understand that you are experiencing issues where your laptop does not go to sleep properly. Specifically, when you press Sleep, it only takes you to the lock screen. Could you please confirm whether the issue occurs with or without Razer Synapse running in the background? Please try disabling Razer Synapse by following the steps provided in this link. 

Additionally, please try to perform a hard reset/power cycle: 

  1. The 30-Second Reset: Unplug the power adapter. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual flea power.
  1. The 15-Second Blink: If the device won't boot, hold the power button for 15 seconds until the power indicator blinks white.
     
  2. Unplug Cycle: Unplug the power adapter for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and try to power on.

 

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, please send me a private message together with your device's serial number and proof of purchase/receipt in PDF format so I can check its warranty details for a possible warranty claim.
