Razi Nari Ultimate on PS4 MIC Help

I purchased the RNU headset a while ago for the haptic feedback and I love it however recently I've gotten back into playing multiplayer games with my friends and the mic is picking up absolutely everything from the headset, is there even a way to fix this? I've been to the settings and adjusted everything that one would need to adjust but it seems that I lose these settings every time I disconnect from my laptop. Am I doing it wrong? I've tried adjusting the mic sensitivity on PlayStation but my friends say they either hear themselves when they talk or that they can't hear me at all. Does anyone have any solutions to this? I'm afraid I might have to spend extra on a microphone but I'm really just a casual gamer. I played on the earbuds that came with my phone before this. I would appreciate any information or help that you can provide because I know next to nothing about headsets or gaming accessories. Thank you!
