razor basalisk not charging

I woke up today to find my razor basalisk ultimate no longer charging on the dock it's dead and I'm unable to use my pc because of it. I've tried cleaning the contacts and pins on the dock and mouse aswell as trying to "reboot the dock" as Google recommends by unplugging it and plugging it back in. I've spent all of the day trying to fix this problem and I'm at wits end I'm hoping someone will be able to offer me a different solution then the one all over google and reddit
