I just bought the Razor BlackShark V2 Hyperspeed headset. 

The first issue, is I CAN connect it to my laptop WITHOUT the dongle that it comes with, but it sounds like crap. So I have come to the conclusion that they are forcing us to the use dongle for connectivity. Wouldn’t have been an issue if the dongle connection with the usb cable that came with it, hadn’t broken 5 days after receiving it. 

I’m now on my second headset in less than a week. lol. 

I also need ot mention, I HAVE to be able to listen to my own voice in the headset while gaming with friends and streaming on Twitch. Don’t ask me to turn that functionality off. Please and thank you. I have my reason for needing to monitor. 

On my serocnd headset, the issue with the sound and latency is still the same. It’s about 40-50 ms but dude, it’s BRUTAL and because I need ot listen to myself in the headset it’s throwing me off. Before, I had a $35 CDN headset with a $32 CDN Behringer XM8500 mic using female XLR to USB connection to my laptop set up and it was fine, but I REALLY want the freedom of having a bluetooth with wireless capability. 

The latency is killing me though. I have spent the entire time I have had this god forsaken headset googling, reading reddit posts, working with my friends… everyting in order to get rid of this stupid latency. It’s brutal. 

The ONLY fix I found was shutting down and uninstalling all razor software and going into the control panel and disabling the Audio Enhancement. 

Does someone… ANYONE having any suggestions as to how to get rid of the Latency issue on my headset WITHOUT turning off the Audio Enhancements or without turning off the Listen To This Device in the Sound Settings for the mic in the contrl panel sound settings?
