Razor BlackWidow V4 X "a" not being imputed

I play games, this is so annoying. I got Razor BlackWidow V4 X on Amazon on August 23, 2023.   For the past few days my “a” key is not working correctly.  If I hit the key 100 times only 80% a keys show up.  And it is getting worse.  If I type “a” several times in a row they key will not show up.  Like below, I have typed 20 numbers and under it I typed out 20 a’s”  few are missing.

This is n example of my original message without fixes and grammar review. “I ply games. I got Rzor BlackWidow V4 X on Amazon on August 23, 2023.   For the past few days my “” key is not working correctly.   If I type “a” severl times in a row they key will not show up.  Like below, I hve 20 number on the screen, nd under it I typed out 20 ’s”  few are missing.“

You should contact amazon for return/replace.
Not sure if amazon has warranty thing, but you could try.

Had this issue few years ago with Blackwidow Lite, Latter “D” didn’t go trough, so I decided to do some custom keyboard stuff, opening up the back case and foaming up for “more silent experience”. In the end I got quiet keyboard and “D” letter working again!

The problem might be, that somewhere on bottom of the keyboard, under the switches (I’m just guessing). Ether you can try to foam it or replace the switch in worst scenario (Requires soldering).

But do it if Amazon can’t do a replacement or refunds.

  • If you have optical switches, try to use compressed air and blow around the switch. There might be hair or crumb between key and switch!
