Razor Nari Ultimate - Audio quality is not good, something iv set up wrong?

Most game including Dayz sound awful on the Nari Ultimate's, everything sounds like it is away from me, with a kind of reverb. Putting in some £50 headphones I immediately feel like I am 'in' the action. Why is this? Something is definitely off. I also found that use the THX mode SHADOWPLAY will not record the in game audio. Looking at the sound control panel on windows 10 i see this. (see attached) do both need to be activated? and which do i pick as a sound source if recording with OBS? Need advice as currently these are the most expensive and underwhelming headphones I have purchased. Help. Windows 10 Home GTX 2080ti 32 gig vengeance ddr4 i990k @ 5ghz

    You need to use Razer Synapse 3. I think the game one use the vibration and the other one´s deactivate the haptic feedback, but within Synapse 3 it should get an user friendly interface.

    @QuickSilverfastboard138 Let's start by setting Nari Ultimate - Game as the default playback device and the Nari Ultimate - Chat as be the default recording/communications device. The reverb you feel may be the haptic feedback and if you feel that it's too much, try adjusting the levels using Synapse 3. Should you need further assistance, feel free to send me a PM.

    I have a similar problem. It only happens if u use the THX Spatial as default Output device. The THX Spatial seems to be totally broken. For now there are only two Options. 1. Use the game chanel as default output and you lose suround sound and enhancement features but have at least clear not muffled sound. 2. Use Thx Spatial with Suround Sound that is totally broken.

    Hello I have a pretty similar problem with this headset it just sounds bad and muffled too but i tried everything in Synapse 3 and nothing seems to change the quality of the sound even changing parameters of the sound control panel doesnt help it I need help too :frown_:.

    For now its just not unsable for its purpose. In any Shooter i played with this Headset i had the problem that i coldn't hear any steps but the musle noise of any gun almost let my ears bleed.

    yeah i'm giving it back to the shop or i'll try to change it to see if it's not a broblem due to this particular headset. NOT worth my 200 bucks.
