razor v3 hypersense mic not working, showing as speaker

i recently bought the razor v3 hypersense, and i attempted to use it on both my platstation and my laptop, the mic did not work on either

i tried to do multiple fixes, including reinstalling the drivers multiple times. 

my laptop says that its detecting the device as a speaker and not as a headset.
