Hi I have the razer v3 pro ps5 controller the controller won’t play as wired. I’ve just updated the controller to the latest update. Has anyone had this issue? How can I fix it?

To get your Razer V3 Pro working in wired mode, make sure the physical mode/connection switch on the back or bottom of the controller is explicitly flipped to Wired Mode rather than Wireless.

Hello hitSpanishOrangeammo423,

I understand you’re having trouble getting your controller to work in wired mode on your PS5. Have you tried using your controller on a different device to see if the issue is specific to the PS5? What type of USB cable are you using (Type-C, standard, etc.)? Please try the steps below:

  1. Ensure the USB cable is functioning properly. Try using a different cable to see if that resolves the issue.

  2. Confirm the cable is securely connected to both the controller and the console.

  3. Check the PS5's USB ports for any dust or debris. A gentle clean can help establish a better connection.

  4. Try connecting the controller to a different USB port.

  5. Make sure your PS5 system software is up to date, as this can sometimes cause connectivity issues.

If you continue to experience issues, please PM me your device serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation. Thanks!
