buttons not working on the track pad either side.

the laptop shows no signs of a battery bulge and system seems to work fine.

don’t really want to take it apart unless I have to to see if its a battery problem - is there any other diagnosis I could do around both battery performance or software fixes (drivers up to date)

 the touchpad buttons right in the corner moves but seems like I am pushing against firm foam (think plasticine) all other gestures work on the pad - there is no click sound which I used to hear
