Recurring Secure Boot Violation on Razer Blade 15 (2020) after BIOS updates/resets

Hey looking for some help please.

I'm experiencing a recurring "Secure Boot Violation - Invalid Signature Detected" error on my Razer Blade 15 (2020 base model).

Device details:
- Model: Razer Blade 15 (2020, Base Model)

Issue history:
- The error first appeared and I successfully resolved it using the official Secure Boot recovery procedure - https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20795/?_ga=2. [removed by moderator] [removed by moderator] [removed by moderator] . [removed by moderator] /

- The issue has since recurred TWICE more: once after a general system reset, and again immediately after installing an official Razer BIOS update via Razer Synapse/updater.
- Both times I successfully re-ran the same securebootrecovery.efi USB fix and it resolved the issue temporarily.

Anyone help me with this?

Hey there, @andyy2009

I understand that you are experiencing a recurring "Secure Boot Violation - Invalid Signature Detected" error on your Razer Blade 15 (2020 Base Model). If the issue returns after unplugging the power adapter for more than 20 seconds, it may indicate that the CMOS battery is no longer functioning properly and needs to be replaced.

To help isolate the issue, have you already tried replacing the CMOS battery? A failing CMOS battery can cause BIOS settings, including Secure Boot-related configurations, to be lost or reset, which may lead to the recurring error you're encountering.

If you have already replaced the CMOS battery, please share the outcome via PM along with your laptop’s serial number so I can further investigate and assist you with the next steps. Thank you!
