So I got a new topcase because I damaged the ribbon cables that made the keyboard function on the old one when Removing the battery. did the swap…. everything is working except for the keyboard and LEDs for keyboard. track pad works...all of the related ribbon cables look fine. any ideas? What else can I check?

Replaced top case and now keyboard doesnt work
I even went as far as swapping my old keyboard that had no known issues before the battery removal….still no good. So i reseated all of the keyboard ribbons, but I’m guessing its just the ribbon to the motherboard that is having the issue? Could the motherboard have a fried keyboard input now or something?
