Request to Bring Back the 7-Button Circular Side Panel for Naga V2 / Trinity

Dear Razer Team,

Hello, I am a loyal user from China. I absolutely love your Razer Naga Trinity with the 7-button circular side panel.

I have been using this mouse continuously for 4 years. Recently, the side panel started having connection issues — it occasionally disconnects during use, and I have to remove and reattach it to make it work again. This has been really frustrating.

I searched online recently and discovered that the Naga Trinity has been discontinued. Moreover, the new Naga V2 series you released one or two years ago does not offer the 7-button circular side panel that I need. This has left me feeling very distressed and helpless. I have already bought two second-hand mice with the 7-button circular side panels, but I don’t know how much longer they will last.

This 7-button circular side panel is simply perfect for me: it has a round non-slip rest in the center for my thumb, and the seven buttons are tightly arranged with excellent tactile feedback, making them very easy to press blindly. I have become completely dependent on it and don’t want to switch to anything else.I sincerely request that Razer consider the following:

  • Develop a compatible 7-button circular side panel for the Naga V2 series, or
  • Resume production of the Naga Trinity and offer the 7-button side panel as a separate accessory.

I am more than willing to purchase a new mouse with this side panel, and I am happy to pay higher shipping fees. If this classic 7-button design can be kept available, I would happily use it for the rest of my life.

I have noticed on Reddit and the Razer Insider forums that many other users have been making the same request over the past few years. Everyone is troubled by the discontinuation of this side panel.

I hope Razer will value the voice of these loyal users and seriously consider this suggestion.Thank you very much for taking the time to read my message. I look forward to your reply!

Best regards,
 Bolin xu

the Naga Trinity paired with the 7-button circular side panel is an excellent and very comfortable design. The round thumb rest in the center allows my thumb to rest naturally and relaxed, while the seven buttons are arranged in a compact and intuitive circle, making them very easy and convenient to press — even without looking. After using it continuously for four years, I have become quite accustomed to and dependent on this layout. No other side panel gives me the same level of comfort. That is why I sincerely hope Razer can continue to offer this classic 7-button circular side panel.

(As you can see, I've been using it heavily for four years, and it's already showing clear signs of wear.)

What they said!

Agreed, the 7-button circular side panel is the best. I purchased a Naga Pro V1 years ago and was able to put on the circular side panel from my Trinity no problem.

About a year ago, my Naga Pro V1 was having scroll wheel issues, so I was interested in buying a Naga Pro V2, but I refuse to buy it since it does not support the 7-button circular side panel. I instead ended up buying another Naga Pro V1 from eBay for around $40 and it was practically in mint condition.

I also bought a new scroll wheel encoder for my old Naga Pro V1 along with new skates and that is as good as new so I have a backup if anything happens.

Would love to purchase a Naga Pro V2 if they ever decide to sell a 7-button circular side panel, I would even pay extra.

I came to the website today to post basically the exact same thing as eeeapie, except that I am from Canada.

I loved the 7-circle layout so much that I bought 4 brand new mice for if/when they inevitably don’t function optimally any more because of how much I truly depend on them and love the perfect layout of the side buttons. The comfortable grip rest between the buttons and circular layout makes muscle memory usage of them identical to a gamepad controller. This literally brings a mouse and controller hybrid together in one for a best of both worlds kind of thing. Paired with razer synapse I’m even able to play games that strongly depend on or recommend using a gamepad, and do so comfortably and by preferable choice. I too, would be happy using this mouse side button layout for the rest of my life. Please consider bringing them back into production either in the form of a new mouse or acceptable side plate on other similar mice in the razer product mouse line up! Thank you for your time.
