Hi. I have an older Blade 15" with seems to only want to go directly to the BIOS.
It was in storage for a while, but I had to revert back to using it recently.
On first bootup, it seems to sit at the Windows startup screen for forever, so I forcefully powered it down.
Second bootup, same hang, but when starting Windows recovery.
After that, now it only goes directly into the BIOS.
Is there an official Razer USB recovery image?
Is it possible that the old "CMOS battery died" issue still exists, and I ended up with a default BIOS setting that is not right?
Booting up with a Windows 10 live USB, the "Startup Recovery" option does not help.
But I can use the command prompt to verify that all the partitions are still there, I can cd to them and view the files.
Booting up on an Ubuntu LiveUSB works fine, and I can even mount the Windows disks.
Unfortunately, none of the various guides online that suggest various bootrec/bootsect/bcdedit solutions I have come across online appear to not resolve the issue.
I know that I could always use the Windows USB to just install a fresh version of Windows, but my preference would be to recover/restore the existing install.
