RMA mouse , do i need to return the defective unit after cutting cord

bought from razer.com.hk
they ask me to spend a week 1 day per email respond
which can be doneor an hour with face to face chat. 

after cutting the cord for a wireless mouse viper v4 pro. they ask me to send back the  defective unit . and they will send back
still not give me the details for the address or whatever . 
i am out of patience without a mouse to use for a week.
i need to wait the mouse send to them and then they send back. this probably cause me another week .
is that true they need the  defective unit back after cutting the cord?

Thank you for sharing your concern here. Just to clarify, once the cord has been cut, you typically do not need to ship the device back. That said, I would strongly advise you not to dispose of the device and to keep it with you until your RMA case is fully completed, just in case the team requests further verification.
