RZ03-01430100-R3U1 - not working please send help

my son bought an old black widow TE Chroma TKL

RZ03-01430100-R3U1

 

It worked for a few minutes but now does not show up in windows 10.

I have tried all the usual “push a key and plug it in” type advice. I have tried multiple PCs and 2 known working cables.

I have tried synapse 2,3, and 4, none recognize it.

I have tried the firmware updater, again not recognized.

If I plug it into a linux machine it shows up as ID 1532:110d Razer USA, Ltd Bootloader (Alternate) Razer

He has been dying for a mechanical keyboard and I really want to get this working for him.

Windows does some kinda drivery thing when it’s plugged in but then nothing. shows as unknown device in device manager.

 

Help me out here. is it a firmware issue? is it a driver issue? where can I find firmware and drivers for this device?

I’m confused about what device it actually is, is it V1, V2, V3 ?

 

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Currently this is my first experience with Razer and it is not going well. Very likely will NEVER buy a Razer product at this point. model number does not show up on website. synapse doesn’t even see the device. I have NEVER had a keyboard that did not just work.
