Hello Razer Support,

I recently purchased a Razer Basilisk V3 (standard wired model) and I’m using it with my MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon) running the latest version of macOS.

I installed the latest Razer Synapse for Mac Preview (v4.0.86) along with the required driver extensions. The mouse is detected correctly by macOS and works normally, including the DPI button, but Razer Synapse does not recognize the device, so I can’t customize buttons, DPI stages, or other settings.

I’ve already tried the following:

  • Reinstalled Razer Synapse for Mac.
  • Granted Full Disk Access and Input Monitoring permissions.
  • Confirmed the Razer driver extensions are installed and active.
  • Verified that macOS detects the mouse correctly.
  • Restarted my Mac and reconnected the mouse.

After further research, I noticed that the original wired Razer Basilisk V3 may not yet be included in the list of supported devices for Razer Synapse for Mac.

Could you please let me know:

  1. Is the Razer Basilisk V3 (wired) planned to be supported by Razer Synapse for Mac?
  2. If so, is there an estimated timeline or roadmap for when compatibility might be added?
  3. Is there any beta version or firmware update that I can test in the meantime?

I really enjoy the mouse and would love to use its full functionality on macOS.

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,

Shoaib
