Screen reflection looks warped, brand new 2024 razer blade, worried about melting screen?

Hey folks! This is my very first debut into higher end laptops, and noticed initially upon unboxing that the *reflection* off of my screen was a little warped / distorted. It’s also SUPER glossy, like MIRROR glossy when displaying black windows. Over time, I’ve just been playing pretty run-of-the-mill stuff like elden ring, have not overclocked it or anything, and the warping / distortion has gotten MUCH worse.

I’ve only had it like two weeks. The actual PICTURE is perfectly fine (aside from how glossy the screen is), but I’m worried that the glass? is somehow melting? or something? I haven’t seen anyone with issues like mine. Am I missing something? Is there like a protective layer on top of the screen that I was supposed to remove when unboxing that just… won’t come off? or something?

In essence,  is this something I need to be concerned about? or should I just put up with the goofy warped reflection with the understanding that my machine isn’t in like danger or anything? The machine hasn’t done anything where it feels too hot to touch or anything, so I’m hoping it’s all fine.

Additionally the side profile of the glass… does not look flat. it looks warped, so I know I’m not crazy.
